Canon G2

The Canon G2 is a sturdy digital camera with a long list of advanced features now selling on eBay for less than $200. It has all of the features I tell my students to look for in a good camera:

• 4 megapixel resolution, more than enough for 8x10 prints
• a lithium battery, a good big one that will last for 500+ shots
• full auto and manual controls
• a swing out LCD display
• auto and manual focus
• macro mode for closeup photography
